Wow! You have got to take a few minutes and watch this set of videos. Esther Emery and Nick Fouch have chronicled the last few years of their life homesteading in Idaho.
What I love about these videos is the transparency and wisdom born of hard work and lessons learned.
From transitioning to life in the woods to dealing with a visiting bear to the stress of trying to communication this life change to other people who really question your sanity to building a log home with lumber cut and milled from the property, I have immensely enjoyed watching their progress and sensing their growth.
They evince that having a dream, love, determination, and hard hard work is the catalyst to discovering the greatness of the human spirit.
There is a series of videos mapping the progress of the log home.
In this video posted Jan. 22, 2016, Ester shares ideas regarding intentional community.
